Rethinking the loft and extension design and planning process
Our Founder, George Kain, started Fast Plans as a design, drawing, and planning studio that is built on Kiwi values and innovation. The company's origins date back almost 20 years when George founded an extremely successful loft conversion design and build firm in London.
Throughout George's career, he and his team have built lofts and extensions, drafted plans and managed hundreds of construction projects. The design side of the company was spun off into Fast Plans which initially catered to contractors and residential developers in the construction industry.
Fast Plans was founded by George to address his frustration with generic plans that were inaccurate, lack of service, slow turnaround times, and a lack of creativity and innovation at an affordable price.
Since George and his team are from the construction and development industry, they have a unique perspective and understand what makes for good drawings, how to maximise space, and how to avoid the pitfalls that he encountered time and time again from external design services.
Fast Plans was created to provide cost-effective drawings and planning services. Since then, it has gone on to provide exceptional advice and support to thousands of clients throughout the UK, each as unique as the individual who commissioned it.
